The t4s are spot on really simple and well engineered. They last forever. I know of a beavertail one that has clocked over 600k!!! Original engine!! The only major problem is they have coil springs in the back so they really show the weight when loaded up and they are like rocking horse and they sell for daft money!

Get the 2.5tdi 102bhp it pulls really well.

I run the 2.5 5 cylinder petrol one and it pulls really well if a little juicy! I picked it up as a one housing association owner with only 40,000 on it for £2250 and its a caged tipper.

I am looking into heavier duty springs as it does show the weight a bit but still carries it fine. The GTW is 4tonne with the vehicle weighing in at 1.3tonne so loaded and towing it gets a bit close to the mark however it carries weight better with the chipper on the back as that takes the bounce out of the springs!! Its a normal mot as well!
