Service Kit for Greenmech 15-23MT34

Can anyone steer me in the right direction for a service kit (filters) for this machine?

 

Engine is marked as Daihatsu 950DT

 

Plate states:

 

Model 58A447

Type 0305-E2

 

I have checked the net, but got into a tangle of similar engines though not quite the one!

 

Would be helpful if someone has already been through this pain........to save me doing the same!

Why? Never had s problem getting parts ftom gm.

Like I said it's not something I wish to drag through a forum. Pete's a great salesman, I have had problems with the rest of the set up.

 

Anyway I was told to go to "Briggs". Johnny Briggs! I assume it's a Briggs Stratton Engine, but I am struggling to confirm this and find someone to supply the parts - that's not in America!

I've heard that there are 'political' reasons for the factory not supplying parts to end users, thus driving the business through the dealer network. This is great in theory, but has the potential to be let down by poor dealer service.

I've just done the oil filter on mine (34 hp turbo daihatsu motor) with an 'off the shelf' filter NOT of daihatsu persuasion.

 

I googled the code on the daihatsu filter and got loads of other manufacturers cross refs.

 

The filter I fitted cost a couple of quid an is Filtron OP564. (from local Camberley Autofactors). I've run the machine for about 6 hours since changing it so it seems fine.

 

As for other bits just get googling - I'm sure they are all out there.

I have just contacted the "Briggs" dealer in UK.

 

Next move is to get dirty and try and find some part numbers on the existing filters.

 

Seems a bit like reinventing the wheel..........I'm sure some one could make some money supplying "service kits"!
