at times chipper will puff a little smoke and vibrate when large pieces put through have changed filters and did stop but has come on again is it fuel or the no stress???

may sound silly but are the blades sharp if they are i would start with fuel filters are the air filters choked as a really restricted filter will make black smoke and drop rpm if its not that i would look for a fuel restriction

Do you hear a rumble when the you turn it of from the flywheel.

Had a hired Timber wolf do this the other day, next thing I knew it was throwing its intestines out the shoot.

Check the fuel cap because they leek and let water in,clear it out replace the filters again rap a plastc bag around the fuel cap and give it a go,also check the electric joiner on the bottom of the hopper they sometimes make dodgey connections,clean them and put back together and also give the ignition switch a good clean and a good spray of wd cheers SSB.

Try taking the fuel filter off and blow back threw it, if this dies not work phone Graham at Orange Plant Newcastle, tell him i sent you

I've been dealing with Graham at Orange Plant for the last 9 years, never been Ripped off always got me sorted out no bother. Never got charged anywhere near that by them for doing my bearings??

That is fair enough but i was telling him to phone Graham at Orange Plant for advice. I have used Orange Plant for 9 years and yes they are on the expensive side but you always get an A1 job every time!
