Thanks for the response guys, I'm sure I speak for Ian on this also and maybe others!! but I feel the industry videos have become an oversight and many are edited so that they look like everything runs smoothly but in actual fact there far from the truth.

This tree was no different, what looked like a relatively small easy ish cedar dismantle turned out to be a little monster, with some careful planning I feel we knocked it out in good time, Ian certainly did very well to keep up, it's funny really as it wasn't that long ago I said to him that his chipper that he used to use was costing him money and time! That certainly wasn't the case that day. The chipper was an animal. Along with an array of rigging equipment that would make any climber that loves his job cream in his pfanners, the job went as well as I'd could! but far from as better as it should. Here's a couple of photos I took :) and one of Ian's at the end ;)ImageUploadedByArbtalk1381757165.066987.jpg.bfd1e8dcaf586fdb7c546884ae0d8513.jpg

Looks like a cracking bit of kit save on the long lawny drags. Cheers mark.

It saved on that job prob 40mins alone on the conifer up the garden. :thumbup1: Tomorrow me and Jack price will be using it to fold tops off some conifers before we fell them. :thumbup1:

Now about the winch its from proclimber, i really struggled when i bpought it, thinking i was only going to use it for "one job" wrong, it prob comes out just as much as the lowering kit does!! (thats pretty much 3/5 days a week)
