Everyone noticed the severe lack of pigeons flying about. We found out why the other day at work. They are all over Shaftesbury on a few fields of what was rape. There must have been 2000 flying in one massive cloud. They came over us 3 times n i wished i had the gun with me.:lol:

That's a lot of pigeons!!!!

 

I have always found when they are in a big lump like that the shooting is not so good . One bang and the whole lot shift off . I recon its better when they are coming in twos and threes .....

Took my gopro on my last few outings of the season, put this together

 

 

 

A few nice drives on there. My dad used to be farm manager and gamekeeper at Ashford Hall so I've seen a few good shots!! Good springer too..
