Saw logs in North West England?

Seems if you live down south then Woodlots Directory on woodnet is a useful place to look for saw logs.

Is there anything like it up north?

It would be useful if they had an area search facility, say 20, 50 miles of your postcode.

You can register for the Fc auctions. Also local districts/beats may sell small lots under a local tender. Give those a try.

I think this could be a good thing. Maybe a members only section for timber sales and a seperate one for timber wanted. Peaple could also put up bit's of arb waste or even sell timber right off the job.
