has your 3720 broken down yet? dont want to be voice of doom but our work purchased one 18 months ago, got 700 or so hours on it and can hand on heart say its junk, had mechanic out to it every week almost since new.

2 complete stripdowns and rebuilds of back end for gearbox issues and still not right

solenoid on rear for hydraulics wiring failed

now on 3rd fuel sender unit, 6 visits for that and a new dash

new battery

uses coolant

had many oil leaks

and on and on, only reason we still have it is warranty has covered all of it and when its working boy its a lovely machine.

Brakes played up is all.

Loader is painted with urine based paint, or just plain pish. Not sure which. Could be either. Wear evident in loader pins at very low hours/usuage too. And kept [properly greased.

Steel hydraulic pipes beneath the RH side footwell are very very rusty.

But a "wee honey"

Morning,

I'm in Morocco for the week of Eid.

The wee John Deere is not really there just for tree work, except moving trailers of logs or chips and splitting logs.

We have thousands of houses going up every year around Rennes and it's booming here.

Lawn sowing is it's main priority after yard work like turning our wood chip pile over (money pile) and we have a few grounds care contracts.

Most new properties on developments have much smaller gardens than of old and a larger tractor would be far less flexible.

We may add a small pto shredder for hedge jobs to our list of accessories next year but for now, we've enough toys in our yard to be getting on with.

Oh, and of course the NEW YARD which needs some work to the buildings.

Regards

Ty

Nice kit there Sanglier,

Hope you got a bargain of an expat moving back!

Look forward to seeing images of it being used this winter but won't you have to change the tyres first?

Ty

Oh we will see how it gets on with the turf tyres, it's for domestic work, cutting deck will have to come off as well.
