Help please down rating from 4.6ton

We had differing advice when we downplated. Initially were told we needed to make physical changes with lots of costs.. Were then told it was a form and £160 ish quid, in the end it was the £28 and Vg10..

Downplating to gain extra legal trailer capacity within driver licence limitations.

Exactly as confirmed by Ben above.

IT is a paper excerise only.

No angle grinder are needed.

There does appear to be a smattering of numpties out there.....................in the bloody motor trade!

You forgot a word

So basically, don't downrate as your not gaining much if you have the licence anyway.

 

If you are going to get a vehicle above 3.5ton don't bother with a 4.6ton as your not gaining much in regards to payload for the cost of the o licence?
