Exactly what I had stated/explained.

Downplating to gain extra legal trailer capacity within driver licence limitations.

Exactly as confirmed by Ben above.

IT is a paper excerise only.

No angle grinder are needed.

There does appear to be a smattering of numpties out there.....................in the bloody motor trade!

So basically, don't downrate as your not gaining much if you have the licence anyway.

 

If you are going to get a vehicle above 3.5ton don't bother with a 4.6ton as your not gaining much in regards to payload for the cost of the o licence?
