Past my driving test few months back an managed to save up enough for my own transport. This will be my first vehicle what would be a good 1 that wont bank rupt me. It needs to carry some brash and waste from gardening jobs tools also any ideas would be very helpfull?

Transit van, carry everything you want. Cheap for start. Also get a toe bar fitted for a trailer.

 

Nothing wrong with a decent tranny that is sign written up properly. Leave the 4x4 alone as you will pay through the teeth for ins.

It's gonna big huge because its your first anyway so transit will defo give more options when it comes to work which will obviously mean more money to pay the insurance huge bill.m:001_smile:

I no ive had a quote for a berlingo thats 2 grand.

Is that reasonable? Proberly best starting with a small van an working upto something bigger. Any 1 got any views on iveco dailys?

Small van and a single axle trailer. possibly an astra van or transit connect might suit...

Try aviva for your quote mate had my licence for a week and they quoted me £1620 fully comp for the year on a mk6 transit box van .

cheap series landrover,insurance will be ok on that and its a van if you get the right 1.
