sorry to sound stupid , but what is hire in plant insurace?never been asked for it before. never hired a chipper before either ,so i guess its different. always borred a mates. but cant this time as he is using it.

im guessing its to cover my back if any damage is done ect....? and how much would ou exspect delivery to be?

Yes its in case the unit gets stolen or rolled over etc etc Will let you know delivery cost in the morning.

thanks mate. hw do i go about getting this insurance? NFU or someone like that?

Do a google search for hired in plant insurance, you can buy a one day policy over the net just for what you need.

Some hirers will insure it and add the cost to your bill.

Yes, the company I use do that, the insurance is 17% of the hire charge.
