200' of connie topping this week and another load next week. It was nice to break into a Buddleia jungle today just to get a break:sneaky2:

 

Still it pays the mortgage till a couple of nice big dismantles get passed by the council:biggrin:

I've noticed a lot of press about Buddleia lately and seen work being carried out to get rid of it in the wild but what I can't follow is why they are doing it after it has all gone to seed giving it a chance to propagate before outing it ? When I worked on school gardens about 40 years ago Leylandii were all the rage and a friend of mine planted a couple of dozen to make a hedge. Next morning he looked out and they were all stolen and looking back they probably did him a favour.

worst thing yet, was the moosh who had topped the conni prior to me about 5 years ago had left everything he cut up there so It was a black rotting mess and i was cutting bellow all of his old cut points. :thumbup1:

 

You lucky lucky bugger ! Lots if dry whippy dead twigs too I hope? I got one stab me inside my nostril a while ago, had blood running down my chin! Client looked horrified when she came out!
