160gb is your hard disk space. the ram is the computer memory. if its too low then everything the computer does will be slowed

 

got the box out, says 1gb ddrs-667/dvdsuper multi, does that help

Hmm-only three months old- I still think it could be viruses, unless a 'dreadful' change has happend to yr operating system . Should have lots of memory left n HD space. You havent been feeding it that cheeap laptop food have you ? It gave mine the shitz -sorry mate-might need tech services now.

only use this for bits off work play this ebay etc , dont down load films etc ,will go a see if there is a virus thers somthing from bt better check that out as well cheers steve

shield. its also the cheapest but dont let that put you off. Norton is probably ok, but is just marketed a whole lot better. if you go in currys or pcworld they will try convince you its the only one worth having....which roughly translates to "this is the one we make the most profit on and have been told by our bosses to tell you its the best antivirus solution available"
