I think a 660 is overkill for that, just my opinion, 550/560 would be ideal.

I have to cut oak too and some is 4ft across......so as my 362 is dead im makeing an all round saw.

Mmmm. If your not familiar with this type of work its all; to easy to pork it up by taking too much out . The only way I know to up compression , after optimizing the squish is to use a ! pop up " piston . I apologies in advance if I am telling you stuff you know about but would not want you to scrap your saw

Spud is your man . He has ported my 346 , my 372 and my 390 . Totally different animals now .

lol fair its only done 20hrs or so work 50 at the most ,im quite aware of the work invloved but yep thanks...it would be easy to kill a 1k saw..:biggrin::biggrin:
