My groundy is on 80 per day he started on £40and got his pay rise to £60 when he passed his cs30/31 now on £80. But he is a good groundy keeps my ropes tended and knows all knots and rigging and when he climbs he will get £100. So I think you have been more than fair with him...I would have told him to go and have fun being a street sweeper wile showing my middle finger.... These young lads won't the cash but don't wont to graft for it

Out of interest does anyone know how much a street sweeper earns per day?

theyl be on l/a payroll,so prob £7.50-£8.50 an hr ??

A street sweeper is on minimum wage i think it's £6.50 ph but its not a good job I think.

Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.

It's not great, I agree. But it is on a par with what the OP was offering to the "groundie with attitude".

But what would you rather be doing as a trade? Street sweeping ore swinging on a tree and be part of the biggest working family other than the Amy.. And play with dangerous equipment and look cool doing it lol
