Had a complaint yesterday from a customer that my hardwood logs are too dry! I was flabbergasted and took about 30 seconds to think of a reply. When it eventually came I said I shall fetch u a green load. When I explained what "green" meant they replied oh no that is no good the logs won't burn!!! Anyone else had problems with these sort of people before??

Not been selling logs for long then. It gets better. They know everything about logs and firewood. They may even know they come from trees

Now now I don't think this customer knows what day of the week it is never mind where logs come from 😉I've been selling them for 4 years. I'm sure everyone else is the same wanting to get it cut split and drying out for a good service

I have had it before, sometimes you just can't win. I have a policy now that if I get daft customers I just don't sell to them.

Did you ask them why they thought they were too dry?

They said they burnt too fast 😳😳 and it was oak what I took them. I could possibly see there point if it was birch or sycamore but not oak 👍
