My 1st bear standing 32" in total. Still plenty of work to do on it and I have not decided on a finish, I would like to use something natural.

1st I roughed it out with the MS260 then went in with the MS150.

Not quite what I hoped for but relatively pleased for 1st attempt at a bear. SWWMBO says I'm too hard on myself but in my view if you have a picture of something you SHOULD be able to copy it (I cant yet). You fantasy carvers out there blow my mind with your skills!!!

I almost forgot to add, no chisel was used in making this bear only MS260 for roughing out then MS150 for detail. A light sanding on the nose area with flap disc in grinder. 2 holes in hooter with drill and a 16mm spade bit to make the holes for eyes. My 1st proper all chainsaw carving to :)
