Sorry if this is the wrong place but I really do need to thank Michael Clarke for making a game of this dead rubber. Such a shame the umps have no common sense and bring such an exciting finish to a test match to an end for bad light with only 4 overs to go!!! Good effort England and thank you Michael Clarke.

I was ready to start lauding test cricket and how much more exciting than one day 20/20 it is and then...bad light! With the flood lights on???

But your right, all credit to Michael Clarke, and well do e England...

Great of Clark making a match of it. Sadly don't think you can blame the umpires for taking them off they are only following the rules of the game its the rules that should be changed IMO.

Cant wait 3 months now.

Stuff Michael Clarke! Making a game of it indeed!: he was trying to win for Australia & when it all went tits up he started whining to the umpires. Typical whingeing Aussie "sportsman".

Despite the end of the game being a flop. If clarke had brought on two spinners the umpires i dont think work have had a problem and possibly swap to a white or pink ball ( its the same ball just a different colour) then they could have got the final four overs in.

Anyway i cant wait for the 5 match ODI and 2 match T20 series of which i am watching an ODI and T20 with my colleagues at Southampton. Will be a great day no doubt.

I am glad the ICC are talking about bringing snicko in and using hotspot and snicko together for edges for the winter series.
