Lidl are going to sale a chainsaw sharpener next Monday for £19:99, will it be any good? There is a video of it on their website. Never used one.

 

Me dad bought one a couple years ago and has used it ever since, he aint a pro, but house is fully heated with wood and he cuts some for elderly neighbours, so it does get some use. Dont think you can change angle to 10deg for milling,but all told its a good machine. Cant knock the job it does.

For the sake of £20 maybe worth a go, would be ok just to get the cutters back to all the same sizes on my .325 chains and then carry on by hand after. Would not use it on the bigger saw chains.

Depends on what size wheel it comes with.
