Make me an offer and sort a courier out.

I could be getting a nice big jonsered. Been offered one, just need to find out about it some more.

It's like a husky, only it likes to dress in red

Not trawled through this thread, but have a newish (less than 1 year old 261,)very dissapointing, clutch problems etc, given us some grief; old model circa 2003 is another matter, still better than anything else we have of similar size and running like new after 'spud' had his hands on it earlier this year! we would not buy another one..

I always find this argument is pretty tedious, bit like arguing which is better, an Indian takeaway or Chinese......just depends on what you like:001_rolleyes::lol:

Jonsereds are always good saws, same build quality as Husqvarnas but generally lower cost:thumbup:

Yes, I think he bought one back after a trip up here to Northumberland. He's our son'! Hope it was the 260, I'm pretty sure it was..

Yup, thats the MS260 that was badly seized, gave the cylinder a good clean and a decent quality piston and was amazed to get 190psi out of it.

Seemed to run pretty well and sounds like it has bedded in well, always good to get good feedback on saws I have done this sort of work on.

Your old man (Tim) did work on my parents place back in the 80s:thumbup:

Got to know Matty pretty well now - nice bloke!
