Recently bought a Farmi and it is a great machine but surprised it uses a micro chisel chain. I only ever use full chisel on my saws and wondered why a processor would need the a micro chisel unless it is expected that cord is always dirty.

What do you recon?

I used to use a bindenberger 450 with a full chisel chain on and if you were in some oak the chain used to normally last an hour at best before it needed sharpened. least little bit of dirt in the rough bark and that was the chain goosed. stand back when it was sharp though

unless you like sharping chains, ther also more tolarent to poor sharping

Don't mind a bit of sharpening and think I am not to bad at it but current blades do about 15-20 ton before needing a sharpen so will not mess with setup.
