Harkie smock

Whats that Harkie smock like? ive got an old army coat i wear but its not very good when climbing, it seems to get in the way.

Really, really waterproof, tough as canvas, the breathability won't cope as well as your work pace to keep you dry of sweat. It can be a mission to take off when need be too. Helmet off then a straight-jacket-like fight. I had one and it lasted more than a year then an armpit ripped open putting it on but since the price has went up, I have started wearing a Helly Hansen Narvik jacket. Full zip on the front for better cooling, two pockets, EN471 too and easy to put on and remove

I got one , it's been good but I'm going for a cut and climb from Clark's when it's done .

I have one, tends to stay in the van though when climbing. Gets way to hot and sweaty. Very nice when on the ground. Like others have said is made from pretty tough material and lasts quite a while. Collar is very nice on it too,lovely and soft lol.

yeah its waterproof for the first month and then not so much there after!

good for ground work, sweaty for climbing.

 

had a few harkie items and will never buy harkie again. a pair of boots only lasted 6 months
