Hey it's whatever comes my way to try and fix I'm afraid.

Wouldn't make any money turning down every none stihl or husky machine that come through the doors.

Sorry but us full timers can't afford to only fix husky and stihl saws spud. :001_tt2::001_tt2:

Of course I do service many other brands of saw and do have a McCulloch on the bench at the moment, I wish I hadn't but it is one I sold a couple of years ago:blushing: Oiler had failed, got that sorted, rebuilt the recoil which then failed when the saw wouldn't start a week after returning it - rebuilt it again and slotted the carb adjusters and cleaned the carb.

It now starts and runs...and oils a little too liberally:lol:

Just winding you up Rich - you know how it is:thumbup:

Oh - the recoil spring, this one was difficult - 1 & 1/2 tracks on absolute 80s this time:001_tt2:

I concur

parts if available from solent tools - Unit 009 343 Millbrook Rd W, Southampton, Hampshire SO15 0HW

023 8057 8057

i wouldn't hold my breath though - these saws seem to be disposable - i have one needing a chain brake band and have left it with them to call me if one is ever available without having to buy the whole chain brake unit for 30 odd quid.

Thanks Mike I will try these guys for the parts I need.

Solent tools could not help, it seems none of the companies here i the UK could help! So Contacted Randy(previously mentioned) in the USA and I managed to order the parts I needed..Simples!!

My einhell(made by Fook!) Indabin model will breathe again properly!! :thumbup1:

Hi,

Right at the start of my search before I came to this site that was definitely one of the options for sure but that's it now all sorted and this thread can be closed.

Thanks again to all the help I got guys :)

Best

SSB
