wood turning tuition, milton keynes

Hi all,

Its my partners birthday next month and she says she wants a wood turning lesson to help build her confidence. Any one know of anyone good doing one on one tuition. The closer to m.k. the better.

Milton Keynes Council- Woodturning – an Introduction - Adult Con there used to be a course at the Linford Arts centre but I cant find a link to it , good luck

Sorry to derail but are there any wood working coarses in Mk, would like to learn so joints for rustic furniture making

Welcome to come up to my workshop whenever you like mate. Lots of wood to play with. It's not massive but reasonably well tooled. I could teach you the basics over a couple of evenings or something. Practice is the key. I used to run a beginners carpentry course, but not anymore. What sort of things u interested in?

That would be good buddy cheers, I want to try some rustic oak benches, but want to do them properly , just waiting on the funds to purchase a small Alaskan long mill,
