The Jo Beau M300 is 35kg lighter than the CS100. I have no intention of starting a slanging match as I haven't seen the CS100 perform but 77lbs weight difference may mean something to you. To me it's the difference between being able to drag the chipper onto the pickup bed and not being able to, so I have the Jo Beau.

Well, GTM chipper 4 inch chipping only weigh 165kg, WHAT do you say?:001_tt2:

Hi chaps,

what would you go for if you worked on small stuff, domestic garden scrub, leylandii and fruit tree branches. I am fed up with smashing it up in the trailer with my bigger saw to mulch it down. My budget isnt big £2-3k. CS-100 or a 125 timberwolf. I van the trailer around and dont have a 4x4 or similar as yet.

Thanks v much

Nathan

Could do you a new Timberwolf TW13/75 on that budget, give us a call:thumbup:

I used to put my Cs100 in my van, 2 ramps, bit of a push and it was in, it took a few weeks to get it sussex and I did fall off a ramp once!

I bought a tail lift Luton, job done.

The jobeau and Greenmech I think are even Stevens, I don't believe anyone on ere is defending either to save face.

Personal preference I think, would I let anyone else borrow it, no chance. It takes an experienced cutter to use it too it's true potential.

Be patient and do the job to suit the machinery.
