Fruit wood etc.

Just looking for any varieties of fruit woods, Yew, Maple, Hornbeam, Rowan anything a bit different within roughly 50 mile radius of Doncaster to collect. Doesn't have to be large quantities, up to a cubic metre would do.

Sorry. Never thought that you might not know what etc. meant. Just to clarify any type of fruit wood and also Yew, Hornbeam, Rowan..... Hope that helps to make it clearer.

 

Yes to use as firewood.

I'm sure he does know what it means and i think its presumptuous to amuse otherwise.

 

Saying fruit wood etcetera and actually meaning fruit wood and other species of non fruit wood does not make sense. Etc means to continue in the same way...but i'm sure you knew that.

So why fruit wood ? The aroma?

 

My problem is that we only sell Beech. We've had a few customers ask for Cherry and Apple just as firewood. It put it in my mind to try different types of wood to see how they burn. I might look into the smoking side of it as well. Food that is, got to involve that as much as possible.
