Stihl kombi units air filter

We had the same problem with kombi's and hl95's. if you leave them on the side with the air filter facing down, the filter gets soaked in fuel and don't start. So watch how u place them on the back of your van cos its a bastard when u get to a job and you can't start your hedge cutter.

 

we put spare plug and filter in all the trucks just in case that happens

was talking to stgl mechanic,he said that orientation orf storing/transportation shouldnt matter.

 

Take air filter off and double chaeck if petrol 7comes out of little brass pipe in bottomcorner. If it does fault in carb systen or pipes. Somethng like that though.

 

Really wish stihl would contribute to these discussions. Would be great help
