I can splice it

tachyon usually milks a bit, if its spliced both ends it has nowhere to go

 

Sorry im not very bright, I just lift heavy things mate I'm lost, what is 'milks'

 

Yes I'd be happy for you to splice rope for me, just message me where to send it and price etc

I'd agree just splice one end. I only suggested the other end as I figured it would have had less loading on it, so easier to splice?

As already been said. Cut the old eye off and splice the opposite end of the rope. Hopefully the fibres should still be nice to work with and johns delicate hands should remain blister free!? Haha.

New rope bought, still interested if somebody would splice it, it wouldn't be a gratis job, I'd pay for it
