Hey guys,

Looking for a set of non PPE trousers for climbing in and just general light work. I'm torn between the Arborwear Ascender's and the Pfanner Stretch-Zones. Problem is I can't find the Stretch-Zones in the UK. Anyone know of a dealer that does them ?

Hi Arborworx. We are the UK distributor for Pfanner and have supplied Rob at Treeworker with these Pfanner trousers recently. Give Rob a ring and if he doesn't have your size in stock, we can get them for him. :)

when not doing chainsaw work i just wear combats from army and navy store, dont want to risk snagging expensive trousres while fencing etc.

If they're still making them I use alpkit genius jeans. Waterproof until you wash them but mighty comply and loads of room for climbing as they have a diamond crotch but no stretch.

After recommendations on here I got myself a set of Arborwear Original Tree Climbers. They are great fit, hardwearing and the crotch design gives loads of freedom of movement, not the coolest when it is warm is only downside.

I reckon that the Arborwear Ascender would be a top choice.
