Landy made a big clunking sound on friday when reversing, it's now difficult to get into gear. Is it likely to be terminal/new gearbox...? Am I going to do more damage using it? Once in gear it seems OK. Can I struggle on for a few weeks till the holidays then get it sorted? Busy time and would rather not be without it..

I'd post on a landy forum but they tend to be a bit special...

Had something similar with mine. Was becoming harder and harder to get into first, second, and reverse. Turned out to be the clutch fluid was really low. Changed and bled the clutch and it was sorted. Don't know if this is any help but worth a check as its a cheap fix.

It could be the clutch fork has failed, we always weld a washer on the back when fitting a new one to add a bit of strength. Not a big job if it is but best part of a days work and obviously you would change the clutch at the same time.

If it is it may limp on like you say but then again..........................it might not!.
