I will stick with the forwarding crane. Take half dozen rings off one end then walk down the other end and do the same. Eventually you will end up in the middle. Forgot to say first cut only 3 rings to keep in balance.

Not what you are after I suspect ! Its the crane that is mounted on the forwarding trailer that is pulled by a forestry tractor that lifts the cut lengths onto the bed for transport . Google forwarder and you will see ......

HI OAK you do not need to spend £10k on forwarding crane mate just get a log jack off rob or just lift the log off ground mate :thumbup1:thanks jon :thumbup:
