Husky battery topper

We had quite a bit on here about this saw a couple of months ago.

Can anyone further my knowledge. If you bought one or used one, how do you now rate it. Now the novelty has worn off.

Not used one my self other than a quick go in the shop but some one on here was having over heating problems I think , quite a recent thread .

I've got one and have had it a couple of months. Great saw for small take downs, conifer hedge reductions and use it exclusively for reduction work. Light weight and no fumes. Not had over heating issues.

I'm guessing you mean small uncomplicated stuff and not ivy wound conifers

I've now waited 3 weeks to have my replacement t536 repaired and have heard nothing back from supplier. Cannot recommend these saws at present.

Sounds like the jury is still out on that one then.

Only one person having a really bad time with it.

Anyone else got any personal experience with it. My mind is thinking like the Flymo/ long grass comment. Sounds like it's basically a battery silky rather than an all day saw.

I heard of a guy down south that bought about six of them and really rate them. He's not on Arbtalk though.
