Ok thanks you guys . It seems to jun very well . got the narrow kirf chain . Just need an air filter and top cover . tried an air filter from an early 346 ( non decomp ) but the two off set lugs are bigger and wont fit in the red one .

I had a 353 in some time ago and TBH found it pretty flat compared to the 346XP albeit in ported trim, your narrow kerf is a good idea, you would probably get more out of it by reworking the transfers as I think they will be restrictive but for a back up saw to your others or for a bit of logging then it will be fine as it is!

love the jonny reds,i have a 2149,2150 and an older 2077,the 2077 outcuts my husky 281 all day long, im after a 2165,good logging saw,same as a 365, sold my 2156 a while back and regretted it ever since think it was the same as a 357, a right whizzer, took the auto decomp off and blanked it off and replaced with manual decomp,you should love your 2152,great saw

Yea seems to run very well . Not as metal as my spud ported 346 but more than capable I would say .
