Hi there,

The chap who normally does my kindling no longer appears to be trading which is a shame :confused1: , so I am looking for a new wholesale supplier.

Anyone in the area able to provide me? I am looking for stock from the end of July onwards.

Let me know if you can help

James

He did 300 bags delivered for £450 cash. The net bags were on the smaller side, see my website - kindling pic for details. Sorry cannot remember exact dimensions.

I think the killer will be delivery so that is why I thought it would probably suit someone more local. Last season I sold 600 bags (sold out) in my second season so if I find the right supplier and price am sure this could be really built up.

Our bags are 40x50 and we currently charge £1.60 a bag but we are booked solid for months and getting the timber is becomming a pita. You are right to get it local send it any distance and the only person making a good margin is the courier.

kindling appears to be a bit thin on the ground this yr ,struggling to get any my self ,

I think the problem is if its wood its on its way to a power station with the government ( tax payer ) picking up half the bill.

last year was getting £4.50 for 82x52cm at the petrol station, you could prob get 2.75

40x 50 bags from one 82x52 thats 14-16kg so almost works out the same.

would you be looking for more than 600+ to collect from inverness (only 15mins) 40x50cm for £1.60

schedule is busy i may be able to fit an order in but wont know for two months. i cannot guarantee all wood is crispy 16%.
