It's used for damp proofing. Use for cutting slots along a wall either through the mortar or brick/blocks, then the damp proof is then inserted into the slots.

 

So yeah it should be a tct chain. If its not then its been changed at some point.

 

Its a bit like the chainsaw that used for cutting through walls.

This is the 10th GreenMech ever made. Dragged out of a barn near Glasgow and sent back to GreenMech for restoration as part of our 20th Anniversary and 50 years of manufacturing on the same site by the Turner family.
