best spray for bramble and rhododendron

Sorry if I'm being thick but now I'm a bit confused. You say a 2% Roundup solution, but then "100 gly, 200 timbrel". Roundup pro is 41% so to get a 2% I need to dilute 1:20.

So for 10litres I need to add 500mls as 500x20= 10000mls or 10litres. Or am I missing something?

Not Roundup, that is not that good on nettles and kills the grass.

 

For nettles Grazon is excellent stuff, use it myself most years.

if you buy gallop it will give you the dose rates in the product leaflet with bottle. if its a knapsack that holds 15ltrs you mix the concentrate for the job you want to do in with the water.depends how big a area you got to do its its not a knapsack full then work out square area then work out what the spray width of nozzel is. if you want more info re working out pm me and will work it out on my spray calc i have.

I use 200ml timbrel and 100ml of glyphosate per 10l

That's fine but that's a 0.4% solution not the 2% which is recommended for perennial weeds.

Problem is the instructions are useless and there are the two variables of how much you put on per hectare (ie how quickly it comes out the spray) and the concentration of roundup in that spray. The online instructions are better and at least give a proper 2% = 500mls per 10l statement.
