Why make tiny profit on a bit of coal when all it does is delay the day that your customers re-order your more profitable logs?

Selling the coal does not really slow me down as I just put the bag/s in back of pickup. But to only make around £1.5 a bag does start to make you think whether it is worth the bother.

£1.50 a bag sounds ok to me. Not had to season it for 12 months+ or smash it out of the ground. We sell kindling for £1.60 a bag trade and there is 60p of material before you even take out the labour. £6 for a bag of logs looks good till you work out its cost you £4 to get it to their door. :001_smile:
