Purpose Built Forwarder Thread (OSA, FMG/Bruunett, Entracon, Norcar/Logset etc)

TCD, we,ve got 2 really good handcutters, so we have no need of a harvester at the moment. But things change!

LOGROVER, does your Osa 250 have difflocks? a guy on another forum told me that Osa 250's don't have difflocks. I can,t believe that a forest machine would not have difflocks.

Elfinwood, I have sent you a pm but your inbox is full!!

hmmm to be honest I don't know, its not here at the moment so I cant look for a dash light! never had the need for them so far so either its standard locked. I know you shouldn't drive them on the road for long due to winding the diffs up as they cant slip very much like a series land rover so they must be locked. when I get the machine back il look in the manual.

after driving the osa with tracks and without I would not bother without them! they are brilliant. im sure this applies to all model though!

Enough is enough! 20 litres a week of Hy-tran dribbling down the windows and getting worse, not to mention the environmental impact. Long overdue job a lot easier than anticipated. Inherantly poor sealing hose swivel plate is getting modified with welded in male-male threaded inserts, hydraulic swivel couplings and then standard bsp's on all the hoses. Can't wait.

TCD i,ve not had a problem with the o rings on the 578 since i stopped swivelling the seat round. At last done the deal On the Osa250 sorted the problem of the spool valves singing, it,s got a big pump fitted and the pump needed turning down. Getting it delivered on to site on Tuesday and will be running both forwarders to catch up with the cutters.
