Does anyone know the part number of the hyd filter off of a bruunette, the one that sits on the diesel tank looks like a cartridge type but cant seem to find any numbers on it.

Moved the bolsters as they were a tad close to the tracks when riding stumps and it ain't looking like I'm going to cut stakes ever again! So this fits chip, bar and log no bother. Frankly done with cutting anything 2.whatever anyway; most chip inc firewood is wanted at 10' now. 2 bays no longer needed...

Nope! 100% nope. Everybody says that when they see the sag, but they don't know how to treat Bruunett bogies. Hub bearings are famously weak and you are advised to run tracks on a Bruunett slack like this. No, the wheels don't slip inside them, contrary to what you'd expect and the grip is phenomenal. No pressure on the bogies at all like this. I wouldn't mind them a little more snug sure, but any real tightness is a total no-no. The tracks on my harvester are very tight; Richard Court reckoned they were a tad extreme but they slip else.

Just a few pictures of the work we have done to the forwarder over the last few weeks between sites.

There was one play the center pivot so we changed the bearings but it made no difference so we stripped it out to discover the main center joint was worn to a oval shape, about 5mm off side to side and 10mm front to back. So split it in half and have it machined out circular with a sleeve pressed in, all back together with new bearings it feels 100% better!

The front end of the engine was a bit of as mess with wrong sized pulleys, broken fan, bodged up alternator brackets etc, so have replaced the leaky old rad with a new alloy rad with build in electric fan and in line thermo controller. New water pump, thermostat, belts and sorted the horrible alternator brackets that were cobbled together.

Finally new hoses on the grab and new hose guard from Approved Hydraulics sorted out the leaky grab problem and it should be back in the woods this week. Will get some pictures of it out working.

Decided to sell the little Lokomo and Kesla stroke processor as I've fully retired from forestry these days, I had toyed with idea of splitting processor and keeping forwarder.. As you never know when might need it!

Realistically that'll never happen and also shame to split as the Kesla was professionally fitted by JCC Engon. Great little machine which just plods away, the processor is controlled by crane levers so nice and comfortable to work. Well maintained and everything good and tight, excellent air brakes, starts on the button, ideal for a small estate or contractor.

Headboard, bolster pins, rear extension are all there to convert back to forwarder if need be. Tyres all good except one and wheel chains for front included in sale. Willing to let it go for £10k plus VAT as it's just sitting in yard these days.
