Thinking of getting an older style forwarder for some 1st & 2nd thinning jobs. Has anybody got any experience of OSA forwarders? seen a 250 for sale which looks clean but don't know anyone who's operated them so any advice would be a help

Also thinking of possibly getting Brunette instead?

Osa and bruunett were both part of FMG once before timberjack and now john deere. Even the current 810e has clues as to its origins in the 578 and 678. Both elfinwood on here and me have bruunetts. Frankly, I love the thing. It is basic but fills the small low impact niche perfectly.

Thanks. The norcar looks like a good sized unit for thinning jobs, had a look but didn't see the one on mascus.

Any ideas on what I should be paying for a osa or Brunette in good working condition?

I like the idea of a Brunette as they don't look to difficult to work and the abundance of international parts
