What sort of timber volume to extract are you talking about?

The owner has not yet finished planning so no numbers at this stage. But it could well lead to more work. I am not convinced I need one yet but my body wont last forever hand-balling everything into our Ifor as I do now.

gotcha; not like hundreds or thousands of tons then. We hand loaded 20t onto an ifor a while back; two days of that is enough! WD

No not thousands of tons. Probable not enough to really justify a trailer but I can't get enough wood for our small firewood concern so a job tidying up some woodland looks like the only way to get a regular supply. I presume the second hand value of decent trailers that are well kept is not too bad. So if it does not work long term I can just sell it and not loose too much.

Timber dragon would be a gd call 4k plus vat for an atv size and the bigger you go the more it costs. You can mount a crane on any trailer for 3k as you can buy a timber dragon crane on its own.

Perhaps, but just don't expect it to last very long in comparison to the European built items. I must admit though, for Chinese made items they didn't look to be that bad.

Who's bringing in them in now? I know Atkinson Vos were but stopped for a while and I'd not noticed if they'd started again.

Good used trailers are rare as rocking horse droppings, you wouldn't have any trouble selling it if you didn't get the use!

Timber dragon trailers tend not to hold their value so well, have had a few people wanting to trade them in having found they aren't quite meeting the grade.

To be honest I'm not sure but I can source the same machine without the stickers from china from a guy I found on eBay. Same machine to the letter without the stickers and brand. The vahva jussi is a similar machine but I think they start at 5.5k plus vat.

I don't doubt it - they were offering them to every man and his dog at one point

Comparing one of the chines trailers to a jussi vahva is like comparing one of those chinese saws to a stihl/husky. Ones designed with a price in mind whereas the other's designed with a job in mind.

Can't find any information on them or a current supplier. Any ideas?
