You're both right, when empty the back wheels would go 4 foot in the air under heavy braking, and when full you could only turn the wheel when moving.

i think that is a 1750,mine is the 2150.dean you want a 1000/1200/1400 they are about 6' wide.

 

I've just been and had a look, they are 6ft to the centre of the tyres, which is a silly way of giving the width :confused1:

 

they are actually an inch off 7ft wide measured from wheel nut to wheel nut.

 

The defender is 2 inch under 6ft

well!!! us cabstar boys are so efficient in getting those trees down if we didn't get stuck we could only charge the customer for half a day.lol.:001_tongue:

I've sped up tremendously now I know which way round the chain goes on the 020
