I can't see that being the fix for a hot start then, as that would be counter-productive, with husky having to shell more out on warranty

Well its not the fix for a hot start . That's clap trap . There was a new coil and a hotter plug and some fuel line mod that I can't remember exactly but blocking the tank vent will make it stop .

Personally I would say issues like that would be down to the carb programme, surely that could just be updated?

Yep I had a new carb complete . I never had , nor do I now , a hot stat problem . My problem was with the auto tune shutting the saw down . Once I had the new carb and remap that was fine . They put the hotter spark plug in anyway . Mine is one of the first 2011 saws and has always hot started just like any older saw .

just had a little play mate.

Yes very chuffed, its the xpg.

Time will tell though but will be ideal like tommorow for little clearing jobs where you don't need the power of the 362

U will end up using it instead of the 362, it's a little ripper
