Wasn't impressed after using one at jones show when we demoed it!!! The guy who owns it had a very valid point of view of it and I agree... Far from a finished product... Just an opinion :)

I git mine brad new, bur after pulling the rope out for the first time it doesnt spool back at all?! Any advice how to fix that?

I am little afraid to open it because I dont want to relase the spring... ;)

Don't worry about opening it, the spring is in it's own case.

Thanks.

In the meantime I disassembled the sidewinder, but I fear the problem is inside the case. The spring doesnt build up tension. I think the sprig is able to rotate, or maybe it is broken. I think I am gonna look into the case as well, wish me luck...

Mine sometimes gets stuck when all the rope is pulled out but that is because I re-routed the rope out of the smaller hole, not as it is intended.

I't been battered around some trees this week and now signs of damage of any sort.

Good kit.

And ask Paul to label it as a Return and you'll skip the import tax.

I had to pay an extra £20 when he sent me my Hitch Hiker cos the value was on the label but avoided the same mistake when he sent my Sidewinder.

How do you get in contact with paul? I've sent an email and tried the number on the ropetek site but it says its not in use?
