Call me Mr Thicky but your air injection duct is on back to front - that thing that looks like a mini tuba should be facing toward the rear handle.

 

Is this melting on the cylinder?

 

Can you take a better picture of that piston - difficult to tell what it is like.

 

If it has many scored lines running vertical across the surface through the exhaust port then it is shot!

 

Well spotted with the injection tube!

Thats one minging piston - like the garnish of needle rollers - just need a jus of carbon crap - bloody cooking programs:001_rolleyes:

 

I'm afraid I'm not allowed to say where this piston come from. It was actually magnetised. The needles came from the small end. Guess sometimes a saw just doesn't stop quick enough before too much damage is done.

 

I have another I will put up next. Should be good for a laugh.

Know about the Tuba dude .. Jus moved it to show area better. Needed new wires as it had burnt out. I'll put better pics on 2mrw when taken it apart .. right now im just chillin out, lol
