I have googled the problem and it seems its a known fault that no-one wants to fix, looks like pages is the way to go!

Pages is for word processing, numbers is for spreadsheets and keynote for power point.

Yes, it would be LOADS of other problems.

 

The mistake here IMO is using anything Microsoft, personal I avoid anything Microsoft, life to short for the frustration of that slow running, clitchy, unintuitive, garbage.

 

I'll be sticking with my hassle free Apple stuff

I certainly won't be going back to windows, this is the only issue I have had in 12 months! Apple all the way for me!

Hell yes! My PowerBook G4 is ten years old and works fine.

 

Quality lasts. We know this from chainsaws, so why not computers?

I use word a lot for compiling reports, if i need to put pictures in i will use Pages as it is a far better programme.

I have one document that I have edited numerous times (a RAMS), and it splits the last few pages out of that document.

 

All other documents have been fine. Having said that, everything is exported to clients as PDF's.

 

Pages is probably the way to go after checking all software is up to date.

Downloaded Pages and it looks great however with word you could have landscape and portrait sections in the same document which you don't seem to be able to do with Pages!
