How it will perform depends on how well the pump and valve are matched to the rams optimal requirements.

Its main obvious problem is that it needs a table under the wedge otherwise you are going to be doing a lot of bending down to pick up re splits.

Its a one handed operation so there is the potential for a manicure you will never forget and a law suit if you let someone else operate it and it injures them.

Other than that its going to be a bit noisier than if it had a cover over the engine.

They seem to have put some time in and know what there talking about which could mean they got all that spot on..

I can get a mate to weld up a table.

I will mainly be operating it, radio earmuffs then and your away!

Like I've said in a previous post I only use a corkscrew at the mo never had a play with a hydraulic one I don't want it to be depressing watching a ram go back and forth for 5 mins at a time..

Cheers bud

Hey just an opinion I'm no expert in towable log splitters and have done zero research either, however someone above mentioned its single hand operated machine 🙈. In my experience I've owned an Austrian made petrol foot pedal operated splitter which I could manoeuvre onto a trailer if I needed to use out on site.

Don't know how you figure that, it looks like a "kick it in a pile and weld it where it touches" job to me.

You cant polish a turd but you can give it a nice coat of paint.
