I have been sharpening mine for years, dead simple just use a new unused tooth to set the angle for the tungsten and a green grit and then set a steeper angle on the carborundum to do the steel.

I have a diamond disc for the angle grinder but find it to tricky to get the angle and finish I can achieve on the bench.

First I grind the face of the tip ( seen teeth that have a thick layer of tungsten but a tiny tooth) this starts to bring the edge back.

Grind the steel backing and then on the green to bring the edge back, then as the green starts to grind steel just give it a tickle on the carborundum again.

I dont let the teeth get to bad so to do a set of 8 takes less than 10 minutes.

I normally dont start and finish a tooth in one go as it can get hot but prefer to keep doing abit and then doing some to another one.

The edge is spot on and on days like this with the rain its a nifty way of saving a few quid.
