Thx for the replys guys, the deal is I should end up with a fair sum of cash, but how best to spend it. Want to buy 1 vehicle to suit all needs and the rest on woodland tickets and a new saw, Don't need a chip box, vehicle usage would be in construction(at present my main income) some logs and moving butts, cants and milled timber around. Tipper is probably unnesecary, crane seems more important for loading wagon and a trailer, and assisting in small scale extraction. But again not really necessary. If I go for ranger or the like, I'd need a dropside body on back.

The most important is I need 3 seats, which always leads me to a landy, as no need for supercab and losing load space, the more it costs the less I have for woodland. Oh decisions. anybody know of any suitable vehicle for sale, or any more advice greatly recieved. Thx.

If your looking at getting a 4x4 to convert it to a tipper with a small crane have you thought about the pinzgauer 718. They pull 5ton with carrying 1.5ton at least.

There very helpful

O and itll look like the picture in my avi

All the best bud

Thank for that mate, they look awesome, will look into it, but not sure I can justify that expense. Never really liked the idea of buying brand new wagons, but haven't ruled it out. What do you want for yours? :P

Yeah sorry, my firstpost was a little deceptive at what age i wanted, 3years old would be ideal, just heard bad things about 2010 and younger so if took ranger route 2011 it would have to be. If you say they can be less than a 2011 ranger then there not as pricey as i thought.Gunna go do some searching. Thx

going to have my navara done by having a tipper fitted to back. all aluminum and being built by hand by a aircraft builder. cost £2.500. but the navaras are a good truck just watch the D22 yd25 models. if they have 70k plus and no new engine be warey they do go bang. D40 earlier models had problems later ones believe are ok. but my D22 pulls like a train good on fuel. and tows well. now mine has a new engine will keep it

My dad's got the D40 2012 model. THAT THING CAN GO WHEN YOU WANT IT TO!!!

I've got a 8x5 ifor. Not Tipper though. Is a multi purpose trailer for me. Got mesh sides for general haulage, but also have a livestock roof, and use it to carry our sheep and pigs about when needed. I think pickups are more useful in general construction work. The 130 with crane I put the link to earlier has a 2200 kg kerb weight, so a reasonable load. Very tempted by that. 130 dropside with crane, advertised as exceptionally clean, 88000 miles. 54 plate, £10,000. What do u think. Still need to know about my seat question though. It's only 2 seater and I need 3. Is changing cubby box to seat always straight forward? Are seat belt fixings always there etc. Thx James

Nissan navara with a snug top on it, chuck a trailer on the back and you're sorted! (Just watch out for the engines on older models). I've always liked the landy's but the only down side is how little you get for your money. If you get a Navara D40 double cab then you have all the seats that you need and plenty of room in the back. Plus a whole trailer. It's a win win IMO!
