Timberjack harvester operators to work in Tuscany.

Salary: 1200 –2000 euro per month, dependent on productivity + lodgings provided.

Would need to work 6 months of the year using Timberjack with processor/harvester head, and Valmet forwarder with pincer.

Mid October through to April. Cutting small to medium sized Oak trees 5 - 35cm diameter.

Will consider recently trained operators, provided they are able to work hard & handle these machines competently.

This would be a good opportunity for recently trained operators to gain valuable experience and work in some spectacular surroundings. It's appreciated that the salary won't attract the Swedish harvester champion. Nevertheless I hope that someone out there with the relevant skills will go for this one and see it as a good starting point.

This is a great chance for a someone having recently left college to get that all important 'experience' under their belt - and, as Herne said, they will be working in a Mediterranean climate, in awesome surroundings.

 

We are NOT paying peanuts and looking for monkeys - rather, we are keen that the right blokes get a start in the business. The pay is based on productivity - so, rewards will increase as fast as your speed picks up!

Herne, Ian - you might be worth contacting Barony College as they do allot of machine training with some students. Also consider an ad in the FMJ.

 

Best of luck - sounds like a great opportunity for somebody to consolidate some training in a challenging and unique surrounding.
