It seems that all those who sing his praises and blame his indifferent showing on his machine are all English. Nothing wrong with that but factory offers aren't exactly pouring in! Maybe a Ducati for next season. Maybe he can make it work.

Possibly yes. It just seems that all the pundits are clouded in their judgement of his riding because he's British and are heralding him as the new Sheene, Hailwood etc. That he is not. Even with a full Japanese factory backing I just don't think he'll cut it. He may win odd races but there's just something missing that will put him above others.

 

Anyway. Just my opinion. I don't want to jump on the euphoric crest of the British wave. I'm probably wrong anyway:001_smile:

You have an opinion and thats cool and you may well be right . I am not claiming he is the next Sheen etc , I don't honestly know , just suggesting that on his performance and progress he deserves a chance .

I feel that would be a mistake but if thats the only factory ride next year .....What asbout Suzuki ? they are coming back into it some time ??
